Dr. Joacir Graciolli Cordeiro
Dr. Joacir Graciolli Cordeiro is a neurological surgeon who specializes in the surgical treatment of brain and spinal disorders of the nervous system. His areas of interest are neurotrauma, chronic pain (including spinal cord stimulation), degenerative spinal disorders, spasticity, epilepsy and robotic surgery. He is also interested in the study of complex multi-modal monitoring, neuroaugmentative and neuroregenerative approaches for the treatment of critically ill patients with traumatic brain injury with the goal of optimizing functional outcome.

Dr. Paulo Roberto Franceschini
Dr. Paulo Roberto Franceschini graduated from the University of Caxias do Sul, where he studied Medicine from 2001 to 2006. Following this he began his Neurosurgery residency at Hospital São José, Santa Casa de Porto Alegre in 2007 and concluded it in 2012. During this period, Dr. Franceschini also supplemented his training at centers of excellence such as the Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix, Queen Square in London, and the University of Toronto at Toronto Western Hospital and Sunnybrook Hospital. Later on he pursued his Clinical Fellowship in Functional Neurosurgery at The Walton Centre for Neurology and Neurosurgery in Liverpool, UK from 2016 to 2018. Upon his return to Brazil he joined the Neurosurgery department at Santa Casa de Porto Alegre as a Functional Neurosurgeon. He is also working as a Functional Neurosurgeon at Hospital Moinhos de Vento in Porto Alegre and at Hospital Santa Paula in São Paulo.
